I hate stray dogs and cats. Tonight as I walked outside to smoke before getting ready for work a stray dog of some mongrel variety cornered a little four year old girl from two doors down. My mother in law happened to be outside and chased it away before it could bite her. I had just came outside as this happened. I immediately jumped in my truck to drive down the street looking for it. I had all intentions of running the damn thing down. But it had ran into someone's yard. My wife called the sherriffs office. Supposedly they are coming out tomorrow with traps. We have five stray dogs in the neighborhood. They chase our kids, bark and growl at people trying to sit on their porch at night. I have had enough. If the traps don't work I have my handy dandy 30-30 rifle. I have three dogs in my fenced in back yard they are well taken care of and loved, but they bother nobody. Strays are a menace and I despise them.
